Library
Please note the information (and information sheets) provided by the University Library and, if possible, be instructed in the use of the library and the database information system. MLA and JSTOR are useful databases for research. It is then possible to order via interlibrary loans from other libraries. Some of the content is only accessible via an IP address from the University of Bayreuth, for which the use of a VPN client and a proxy server is required (instructions).

E-Learning
Another important source of information is the E-Learning server of the University of Bayreuth. There you will find materials, discussion forums and other content on the various courses.

Teachers' DegreeHide

Information regarding teachers' degrees, please click here.
NB: Although all courses in our department are taught in English, teachers' degrees involve further subjects, all of which are taught in German only. Thus, enrolment for teachers' degrees requires an excellent command of the German language, and all information on these degrees is available in German only.
